Read the live win line
In normal FFA, win by controlling about 80% of non-fallout land. Team games use the same 80% threshold, and your usable-land share must be strictly greater than the active line.
With Overtime, the line remains at 80% through 30:00 and has not moved at exactly 30:00. It then falls by one percentage point every 30 seconds, or two points per minute.
Doomsday uses a rising survival test after its 10-minute grace period. The FFA rungs are 2%, 4%, 7%, 11%, 17%, 25%, and 35%; the team rungs are 3%, 6%, 10%, 15%, 21%, 28%, and 35% of combined territory.
Count usable land rather than water. Fallout removes land from the usable pool, so nuclear fallout can change the denominator while you build toward the required share.
Finish the match without wasting the push
- What territory counts toward a normal win?
- Your share is measured against non-fallout land, and water does not count. Fallout removes affected land from the usable pool, so a hydrogen strike can help a leader or deny a rival the final percentage.
- What should I do when I am above the Overtime line?
- Stop taking vanity tiles and hold your share until the next 30-second drop. Reinforce the neck that is losing ground with Defense Posts and keep a troop reserve near 42% of capacity instead of adding a fourth Factory on an inactive rail.
- How can I recover when I am below the Overtime line?
- Take the cheapest legal land you can secure before the next drop: empty plains, a leftover Bot, a doomed neighbor, or a defensible coast. Skip a Port that cannot pay back within 30 seconds; when troop capacity blocks the push, a City is the relevant building.
- How should a team survive the Doomsday checks?
- Spawn on the flashing teammate ring and watch the team's combined territory, because the threshold is not multiplied by squad size. During a warning, one teammate can farm cheap tiles while another holds the front.
