Rebuild your army without another collapse
Lower the attack slider, stop unnecessary pushes, and keep a reserve on your home tiles while the troop bar recovers toward the middle.
Each attack sends a percentage of your current troops. T lowers that percentage, Y raises it, and Shift plus the mouse wheel provides the same adjustment.
Troop growth peaks near 42% of capacity. A nearly full bar stores strength for a fight but produces slower growth, while a very low bar leaves little deterrence.
If you repeatedly reach the ceiling, add or upgrade a City. Each City level adds 250,000 troop capacity, giving the same army more headroom to grow.
Troop recovery questions
- Why did my army collapse after taking one Bot?
- You likely committed too much of the current army and remained at a low troop level. Reduce the attack slider, leave a home reserve, and wait for growth before another major attack.
- Should I send every troop when I outnumber a defender?
- No. More attackers than defenders can reduce losses, but that benefit flattens beyond roughly a 2:1 advantage and does not justify sending 100% of your army.
- When should I use a City to improve troop recovery?
- Use a City when you keep pressing against the troop ceiling. Its additional capacity makes the current army a smaller share of the cap, allowing growth to accelerate again.
